CAMP Protocol

We designed and built ChatMail from the ground up, including our custom encryption protocol. ChatMail’s Advanced Message and Parsing protocol encompasses our proprietary technology, referred to by the acronym: CAMP.

Combining the most reliable and trusted algorithms in cryptography, our CAMP protocol ensures customer privacy with leading edge security. Our system for encrypting and decrypting messages prevents them from being stored in plain text. PGP email encryption includes a custom designed solution which removes the need for local server storage. For end-to-end encrypted messaging we use Diffie-Hellman Elliptic Curve Cryptography. ChatMail doesn’t have roster, group, or message storage which means you can delete your confidential information while being offline.

Our parsing algorithm takes external PGP encrypted email and displays it in an easy-to-read message bubble to look like a chat message. We designed our parsing algorithm specifically to protect messages from compromise when communicating with external PGP email providers. After 24-hours many companies delete messages, but threads often remain containing confidential communications.
